ADHD (Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder) (注意欠陥多動性障害)
In the ADHD illustration, I am portraying the good traits of this condition, as it is often stereotyped and misunderstood by those who have no knowledge about it. Many times people see children with this condition as just being spoiled and annoying, while most of the time their minds are running hyper with so many ideas they can’t focus on one. ADHD individuals tend to be very creative and pursue freedom and justice, which is what I am communicating here. The pose and gestures of the character imply imagination, while the flowers coming out from her head imply all the ideas and thoughts in her mind. There are also invasive weeds randomly placed to demonstrate that thoughts or ideas aren’t always correct or accepted. The colours imply a playful mood and the little hummingbird represent distractions.
ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) (自閉症)
It was inspired by Japanese watercolour contemporaneous art. The character is losing in his thoughts and ideas. The flowers were made symmetrically to represent the logical and organised thinking of people with Autism. But the artistic swirls represent their creativity as many people with Autism have artistic talents. The gesture communicates a self-focused attention. The dots represent the chaos in the world.

OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) (強迫性障害)
The tone of voice is of despair and frustration, the pose is inspired in Japanese contemporaneous artists and illustrations, the pale and neutral colours transmit a sad, exhausted mood. The colour and pattern in the background is acting as camouflage where the character gets lost as she is disintegrating, representing how she loses in her obsessions. The act of her ripping her skin off represent her despair to get rid of her obsessions through incoherent actions (compulsions).
Anxiety (不安障害)
It is inspired by Japanese ink paint and calligraphy. And the black and white colours, images and body language represent feelings of fear, void, hopelessness. The lettering emphasise these feelings of fear. The feeling of anxiety is represented as this constant energy that is trying to protect you, but instead, pushes you into a never ending void.
Schizophrenia (統合失調症)

The mood is transmitting the most known and characteristic feature of schizophrenia, which are hallucinations. The difference in colours are representing the difference of realities. A person with schizophrenia is represented in many colours and with a breaking effect in order to represent the overwhelm of the stimulation he is receiving from his own hallucinations and the physical world that we all know. People with Schizophrenia can be triggered with lights or colours that can be the cause of a psychotic episode, hence one of the monsters is coming from the red light in the station sign.  The other one is coming from himself to represent that, although it comes from himself, he has no control over it.
